Safe Nest would like to help you with your spring cleaning! Check out these tips for spring cleaning your closet, and learn how you can help fund vital programs that assist victims of Domestic Violence in our community by simply donating your gently used clothing items.
Fill Two Bags- Start by designating two boxes/bags/piles to separate your unwanted clothing. Mentally, or literally, label one ‘Toss’ and the other ‘Donate’. If the items are no longer wearable (rips, stains, etc.), add them to the toss pile. If the items are wearable, add them to your donate pile.
Ask Yourself These 6 Questions:
Does this fit?
Have I worn this in the last 12 months?
Is it likely I will ever wear this again?
Is this currently in style/accurately representing my current style?
If I was shopping right now, would I buy this?
Do I feel confident when I wear this?
